Roscommon County requires all dogs to be licensed. Cats no longer require a license as of November 2015. Our office sells licenses from Nov. 1st through Feb. 28th. We require proof of rabies vaccine & spaying/neutering. If your dog is fixed the licenses are $2.00 for senior citizens 62+ and $5.00 for everyone else. If your pet is not spayed or neutered, the licenses are $10.00 for everyone.

AFTER Feb. 28th, licenses are available at the Animal Shelter & Roscommon County Treasurer for $40.00.
